Luca T. Mai
Luca T. Mai is the Italian bariton saxophonist and co-founder of the Italian instrumental avantrock trio ZU. Luca's playing is distinguished by a targeted use of effects which makes his sax sound thick, harsh and distorted. Over the years he has played with his favorite saxophone players of the current Jazz and improvised music scene e.g. Peter Brötzmann, Mats Gustafsson, Ken Vandermark and has collaborated with Mike Patton, Nobukazu Takemura and many others.
